Original Handmade Fused Glass Artwork-'Rupert the Rainbow Dachshund'

As a dachshund parent myself, I know how much these little characters take over your life, your heart and your home. You suddenly become addicted to all things dachshund. Plates, tea towels, jumpers... the list goes on! So... why not add my creation to your collection and join the other owners of my rainbow striped dachshund from all over the world.
I hand make each 'Rupert' myself by firstly cutting nineteen individual pieces of coloured art glass and arranging them to form the attractive image of a chocolate dachshund sporting a rather fetching rainbow striped jumper. I then place the pieces on top of a clear glass panel and tack fuse in a the kiln at high temperature to form the piece. Once Rupert is cooled he is mounted on to white mount board and set inside a white box frame, ready to hang.
