'The Dachshunds' Causeway'- A tall curved solid glass light screen featuring three dachshunds exploring the rocks at a blue lighthouse while seagulls fly overhead. Size 15 x 15cm approx
'Bark Life'- a wave shaped solid glass light screen featuring four dachshunds going for a stroll in the park, amongst the lush green summer trees and flying birds. Size 25 x 10cm approx
'Beach-combing Dachshunds'- a short curved solid glass screen featuring two dachshunds who are out and about beach-combing at the seaside. Seagulls fly overhead while starfish are waiting to be discovered in the hot sand. Size 18 x 15cm approx
Each of these solid fused glass screens are handmade using a variety of different techniques. The trees, lighthouse and beach hut are all made from coloured glass, with each individual piece being cut by hand. The pieces are placed together with the rocks,dachshund, bird and starfish shaped pieces and placed within and fused inside the glass in a special kiln. When each piece is cooled it is fired again across a ceramic mould to create the 3D shape.
These light screens can be displayed in front of a window or tea light candles to illuminate the truly stunning scenes.
They are a perfect addition to any dachshund lover's home.
