SATURDAY DECEMBER 4TH- 11.30AM- 1PM
Based at the workshop of 'Pretty Cactus', in the pretty Norfolk village of Brooke, why not come along and learn the skills of glass fusion?!
In this class you will learn all about the variety of tools and glasses that can be used for fusing, as well as the different firing techniques and glass cutting and layering skills.
Each participant will make a festive 10 X 25 cm candle wave screen of their own, featuring a row of different shaded Christmas trees, which can be decorated with glass chips and colourful patterned millefiori beads with a final flourish of glass falling snow!
At the end of the session, your creation will be carefully transported to my studio to be fired for a total of 10 hours and delivered to you all shiny and beautiful up to a maximum of a week later.
I design my classes to enable participants to make high value pieces of art that are useful as well as decorative, allowing for them to be displayed and treasured forever ( so don't worry- I promise you won't end up with something you end up shoving in a drawer!)
All tools, materials, kiln firing and delivery are included in the class cost
Drinks will not be provided due to safety issues- though you are welcome to bring your own in a sealed cup or bottle.
Classes are for aged 16 or over.
Covid safety measures- Classes are a maximum of 10 participants. Face masks must be worn whilst in the workshop.
Cancellation Policy:
Within 4 weeks of workshop date 80% of the fee will be refunded.
Within 3 week of workshop date 50% will be refunded.
Within 2 weeks of the workshop date 0% refund will be given.
In all cases of cancellation, I will make every effort to fill your space and if successful will refund you in full.
