Based at the Community Centre, in the pretty Norfolk village of Poringland just south of Norwich, why not come along and learn the skills of glass making?
In this class you will learn all about the basics of fused glass creation and the different glasses that can be used for fusing, alongside glass cutting and layering skills.
This class is aimed at beginners and is a 'free choice' design class, so you will be using your own imagination and creativity to make either a 10 x 10 cm glass coaster, or a square 10 x 10 cm glass dish.
At the end of the session your creations will be carefully transported to my studio to be kiln fired for between 5 and 10 hours and will be delivered to you all shiny and beautiful around two weeks later.
All tools, materials, kiln firing and delivery are included in the class cost
Drinks will not be provided due to safety issues- though you are welcome to bring your own in a sealed cup or bottle.
PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON SITE.
PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME FOR TRAVELLING, FINDING THE VENUE AND PARKING AS WE WILL BEGIN THE CLASS ON THE DOT OF 10.30AM!
Classes are for aged 12 or over.Any children will need to be accompanied by an adult participant.
Cancellation Policy:
Within 4 weeks of workshop date 80% of the fee will be refunded.
Within 3 week of workshop date 50% will be refunded.
Within 2 weeks of the workshop date, no refund will be given.
In all cases of cancellation, I will make every effort to fill your space and if successful will refund you in full.
